Beeswax and Honey
The Virtuous Bee products are made with carefully selected quality ingredients, right down to the material of the packaging to ensure all my hard work is protected, and nothing else gets in but what I want. Organic, extra virgin, fair trade, bpa free, are all terms I am very familiar with and are very important to me. If I wouldn’t use it for my family, I won’t make it for yours.
All my products are handcrafted, and the essential oil blends were created by me for both the therapeutic quality, and just how darn good they smell!
If you are lucky enough to come across little brown flecks in your new favorite, don’t worry, its propolis! Propolis is another very useful and beneficial byproduct of bee’s business. They use it to seal up their hives, and keep it sterile, thus resulting in an anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-septic, anti-oxidant filled resin.
The body butters are dense, rich and highly emollient with a velvety texture. It goes a very long way and absorbs quickly into the skin. It can be used for anything and everything, such as the obvious moisturizer, but also as an anti-chaffing cream for runners, diaper cream, cuticle cream, heel cream, eye cream, the list goes on and on! The scents I have chosen for these are the natural aroma of honey and beeswax, a calming blend of clary sage, lavender and chamomile, as well as an energizing blend of rosemary, lavender and peppermint. My favorite thing to do is mix the calm and energizing together for what I like to call Bee Balanced!
The balms are, well, balms! They also have a million uses! The Bee Warm can be used as a muscle rub, or to put on your fingertips or toes before going into the cold. (as a newly minted hockey mom, I find this beneficial!) Bee Cool can help a headache, stuffy nose, sore feet, or achy muscles, or could cool you off on a hot day. Can’t decide? Mix them together and get an icy hot sensation!
Bee everything is just that. An all-purpose balm that can have more uses than bees have jobs!
Enjoy luxuriating in your new find, and feel free to ask questions, or offer up suggestions!
